Unai Emery‘s Villa are hoping to lift only the club's second-ever European trophy following their historic 1982 triumph.

But they have it all to do having lost 4-2 to Greek giants Olympiakos in their semi-final first leg.

The winner of that tie will take on Fiorentina, beaten finalists following a 2-1 defeat to West Ham last year, in the final after they saw off Club Brugge in the competition’s other semi-final.

When is the Europa Conference League final?

The 2023/24 Europa League final will take place on Wednesday, May 29.

It will be played at the home of AEK Athens at the Agia Sophia Stadium, also known as OPAP Arena, in Nea Filadelfeia, Greece.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm.

Full details around talkSPORT commentary will be announced in due course, but talkSPORT.com will be running a live blog of the game.
